    Villa Tempora | Agathe Dalisson & Amaury Coste
    Het avontuur van Agathe en Amaury begint in Afghanistan waar ze beiden voor een NGO werken en elkaar voor het eerst zien. De wijnbouw in het veilige Europa lonkt. Even lijkt Portugal een optie maar tijdens een bezoek aan een domein in Pézenas in 2017 is het koppel instant verliefd: Villa Tempora is geboren.

    Amaury met zijn diploma van Montpellier SupAgro en Agathe, communicatie-specialiste worden wijnbouwers. Met hun wijnen van carignan, grenache, syrah en mourvèdre zullen ze alle liefhebbers van het betere zuiderse werk bekoren. Wijnen die met hun mooie fraîcheur altijd zeer mooi in evenwicht zijn.

    Alle wijngaarden worden biologisch bewerkt (gecertifieerd AB) en worden zo natuurlijk mogelijk gemaakt. De wijnen komen op de markt als AOC Languedoc, AOC Languedoc Pézenas of simpelweg Vin de France.

    Jancisrobinson.com: "A blend of Grenache on schist, Syrah on clay limestone and whole-bunch 80-year-old bush-vine Carignan. Hand-picked. Unfined, unfiltered. Certified organic (AB, Ecocert).
    Agathe Dalisson, from Bordeaux, and Amaury Coste, from Burgundy, make exceptionally gentle wines from their estate in Pézenas. It's not easy to produce a Grenache, Syrah, Carignan blend that tastes of raspberries and ripples like a woodland brook, but they've done it. The tannins are fluid, just like that woodland brook, in flow over water-rounded pebble minerality. There is just enough scuff to keep things real, and there is just enough fallen-leaf earthiness and rustle to make me think of autumn. I get the impression that Dalisson and Coste listen to their vineyards rather than managing them. Or at least, this is what this wine seems to tell me, when I listen to it." (17p)
