    Villa Tempora | Agathe Dalisson & Amaury Coste
    Het avontuur van Agathe en Amaury begint in Afghanistan waar ze beiden voor een NGO werken en elkaar voor het eerst zien. De wijnbouw in het veilige Europa lonkt. Even lijkt Portugal een optie maar tijdens een bezoek aan een domein in Pézenas in 2017 is het koppel instant verliefd: Villa Tempora is geboren.

    Amaury met zijn diploma van Montpellier SupAgro en Agathe, communicatie-specialiste worden wijnbouwers. Met hun wijnen van carignan, grenache, syrah en mourvèdre zullen ze alle liefhebbers van het betere zuiderse werk bekoren. Wijnen die met hun mooie fraîcheur altijd zeer mooi in evenwicht zijn.

    Alle wijngaarden worden biologisch bewerkt (gecertifieerd AB) en worden zo natuurlijk mogelijk gemaakt. De wijnen komen op de markt als AOC Languedoc, AOC Languedoc Pézenas of simpelweg Vin de France.

    Jancis Robinson: 17/20 "Full bottle 1,410 g. Certified organic (Ecocert). 80% old-bush-vine Carignan, 20% Grenache grown on Villafranchien pebbles and clay limestone. Hand-picked. Vinified by plot in 30-hl tanks. Low added sulphites. Unfiltered, unfined. A small family estate owned and run by Agathe Dalisson, from Bordeaux, and Amaury Coste, from Burgundy.
    I love these Villa Tempora labels which look like hearts and stones, or maybe both at the same time, and look as if they may have been drawn (with thick wax crayons) by a child. And hearts and stones is what this wine tastes like. Stones in the middle, giving the wine with a centre of gravity, a mineral focus, a radius, a weight. Hearts of red fruit radiating out from that: plum and raspberry, sweetness and life. The tannins feel like plum skins and kitten tongues – velvet and silk and raspy all at the same time. Delicately lifted on the finish in a fragrant dried-herb way. It is, somehow, a very 'pure' wine that tastes as if it comes from somewhere it belongs to."
